Dacon provides custom jacketed cables for the special requirements of the downhole and oil drilling cable industry. Coupling our ability to develop special single and multi-conductor cables with our broad range of insulation expertise, we can provide the high temperature cable for your most demanding downhole requirements. We can supply custom cables providing the necessary power, data, and control feeds for your application and to your specifications. We specialize in Teflon cable and long cable lengths to your requirements, with minimum lengths of 500-1000′ depending on cable and insulation type.

We will tailor the insulating jacketing to the harsh operating demands of your downhole application, meeting your temperature, corrosion resistance, causticity, abrasion, or waterproof requirements. Not sure what materials are appropriate to your needs? We’ll be happy to help you match our range of insulating materials – including FEP, PFA, ETFE, TPR, and many others – to your requirements. Our custom insulated downhole cables can withstand temperature ranges of -45° C to 1200° C.

If desired, we can also provide custom flexible insulated metal hose to 2″ OD for special jacketing applications.
